Responsibilities

• Perform all established ultrasound procedures
• Consider age-related factors in care, treatment, education and evaluation of patients ranging from neonates to geriatrics
• Apply knowledge of age-related factors appropriately in accordance with professional standards and departmental policies and procedures
• Perform procedures safely and observe universal precautions at all times
• Pursue professional development for the continual improvement of patient care
• Perform related work as required

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of program in Ultrasound Technology approved by the Council on Medical Education of the American Medical Association or documented equivalent education, experience, and training
• Licensure: RDMS
• Certification: BCLS Required
• Experience: Ability to perform Ultrasound procedures following accepted standards and protocols
