The Advanced Sonographer operates imaging equipment and software proficiently, mostly ultrasound equipment, to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. This role requires proficiency and thorough understanding of operating imaging equipment and procedures while ensuring patient safety and maintaining imaging standards.
Responsibilities
- Operate imaging equipment and software, primarily ultrasound equipment.
- Assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients.
- Ensure patient safety and maintain imaging standards.
- Serve as lead when direct leadership is unavailable.
- Act as an expert resource for the team.
- Assist in training other staff members.
