About the role
We are seeking a dedicated Ultrasound Technologist to perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound procedures in a patient-centered, rural healthcare setting.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound exams to produce clear images for interpretation
- Collaborate with physicians, radiologists, and healthcare staff to support accurate diagnoses
- Maintain imaging records and ensure timely reporting to providers
- Follow all safety standards and ALARA principles
- Participate in on-call coverage, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Maintain equipment, supplies, and department organization
Qualifications & Skills
- Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography or radiology program with ultrasound experience
- ARDMS registered or eligible; actively working toward certification if not yet registered
- Strong knowledge of ultrasound principles and equipment operation
- Ability to work collaboratively with team members and patients
- Commitment to patient safety, confidentiality, and quality care
- Must have begun ultrasound training prior to 2000 or be a registered ARDMS sonographer planning to certify soon
