Responsibilities

- High quality ultrasound procedures in strict accordance with department policy and procedure manuals.
- Assist radiologists with ultrasound-guided biopsies and procedures if needed.
- Understand the methods used to generate ultrasound data and the theory and operation of the instruments that detect, display, and store the acoustic information generated in clinical examinations.
- Maintain patient’s well-being during exams; recognize and address patient discomfort or medical problems.
Requirements
- Completed Ultrasound Technologist program with diploma
- Passed SPI exam required
- Current ARDMS certifications or AART (S)
- Minimum of 2 years Ultrasound experience
- BLS certification required
