Ultrasound Tech-Perinatal Specialist-Perinatology

Job Objective: Provides correct and detailed patient histories and accurately interprets exams. Performs sonographic exams of the highest quality. Eisenhower Medical Center (EMC) is an ACR accredited institution.

Qualifications

Education:

• Required: Associate’s degree in Ultrasound Technology

Licensure/Certification:

• Required: Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) certification by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) with OB/GYN or Fetal Echocardiography specialty; American Heart Association BLS
• Preferred: Nuchal Translucency Certification (The Fetal Medicine Foundation or ARDMS registry), Nuchal translucency certification through NTQR/Fetal Maternal Foundation, Nasal Bone certification, or CLEAR certification

Experience:

• Required: Three (3) years of general scanning experience including one (1) year of perinatal scanning experience
