Job Summary
Position Responsibilities
- Performs high quality obstetrical Ultrasound studies for various patient populations according to protocols established by Perinatalogists/AIUM.
- Demonstrates ability to recognize and accurately document pathology identified in scans.
- Demonstrates thorough knowledge of Ultrasound and Trophon equipment.
- Performs a preliminary evaluation for each patient.
- Obtains pertinent medical history prior to exam; obtains previous examinations and reports.
- Reviews and verifies physician’s orders.
- Responds to changes in the work schedule and locations.
- Demonstrates appropriate and effective use of Viewpoint and hospital-based (EPIC) computer programs and adheres to all policies and practices regarding confidentiality of all electronic communications.
- Prepares room as needed for invasive procedures.
- Familiar with all equipment utilized for invasive procedures.
- Affords assistance and scans, as needed, during invasive procedures.
Position Qualifications
- Required Experience: Experience preferred OB all trimesters, GYN with transvaginal a plus.
- Required Education: Formal education in an accredited Diagnostic Ultrasound Program with clinical training/experience in OB and/or MFM.
- Training / Certification / Licensure: Must be registered with: American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography OB-GYN (ARDMS) or board eligible ARDMS OB/GYN and board certified within 12 months of hire.
Pay
$43.06 - $66.95 Hourly
