Ultrasound Tech - Perinatal Part Time

Job Summary

Position Responsibilities

• Performs high quality obstetrical Ultrasound studies for various patient populations according to protocols established by Perinatalogists/AIUM.
• Demonstrates ability to recognize and accurately document pathology identified in scans.
• Demonstrates thorough knowledge of Ultrasound and Trophon equipment.
• Performs a preliminary evaluation for each patient.
• Obtains pertinent medical history prior to exam; obtains previous examinations and reports.
• Reviews and verifies physician’s orders.
• Responds to changes in the work schedule and locations.
• Demonstrates appropriate and effective use of Viewpoint and hospital-based (EPIC) computer programs and adheres to all policies and practices regarding confidentiality of all electronic communications.
• Prepares room as needed for invasive procedures.
• Familiar with all equipment utilized for invasive procedures.
• Affords assistance and scans, as needed, during invasive procedures.

Position Qualifications

• Required Experience: Experience preferred OB all trimesters, GYN with transvaginal a plus.
• Required Education: Formal education in an accredited Diagnostic Ultrasound Program with clinical training/experience in OB and/or MFM.
• Training / Certification / Licensure: Must be registered with: American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography OB-GYN (ARDMS) or board eligible ARDMS OB/GYN and board certified within 12 months of hire.

Pay

$43.06 - $66.95 Hourly
