Job Summary

Responsibilities
Responsible for operating ultrasound-scanning equipment to make abdominal, vascular and / or obstetric images of the body. Positions and instructs the patient for imaging exams, adjusts and/or calibrates equipment as needed. Ensures all hospital mandated safety precautions are followed. Performs other duties as required.
Qualifications
- Education: Major: Radiological science
Supportive Course Work: Biology, anatomy and physiology - Licenses / Certifications: Board certified with the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography. RDMS (OB) and RVT (VT) Required. Healthcare Provider BLS required.
- Experience: 2 – 3 years
- Skills / Knowledge / Abilities: Analytical and grammatical skills are necessary to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing. Must be fluent in spoken and written English. Must be able to fulfill the essential functions of the position.
