About the role
The Ultrasonographer Student will work with a registered Ultrasonographer to complete ultrasound exams. The Student will be responsible to prepare patients for exams, screen patients for procedures, transport patients, complete exam worksheets, and stock and prepare exam rooms. This individual will also assist in the performance of ultrasound exams. Additionally, the Student will assist the registered Ultrasonographer in the completion of exams and procedures.

Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Currently enrolled in an accredited Ultrasound Program
- Must have Sonographic Principles and Instrumentation for ARDMS
- BLS required

- Advanced anatomy knowledge
- Ultrasound physics
- Proper sterilization techniques
- Professional bedside manner
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Operate ultrasound equipment and Non-Invasive Vascular equipment
- Provide ongoing patient assessment through observation of patient and records
