About the Role

This position is applicable for Ultrasonographer, Tech 1 with less than two years of related work experience and Ultrasonographer, Tech 2 with two years or more of related work experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs basic diagnostic ultrasound examinations as prescribed by the physician and documents findings.
• Assists physicians with invasive procedures as needed.
• Provides appropriate patient care and recognizes patient conditions essential for successful completion of the procedure.

Qualifications

Required:

• Associate's Degree or equivalent experience in a related field
• 2 years of relevant experience in ultrasound
• One of the following certifications upon hire:
  • CRT-Sonographer (S) - ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologist)
  • CRT-Abdomen (AB) - ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography) Excluding Vascular Sites
• AND one of the following certifications upon hire:
  • CRT-Ob/Gyn (OB) - ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography) Excluding Vascular Sites
  • CRT-Vascular Technologist (VT) - ARDMS (Vascular Sites)
  • CRT-Vascular Sonographer (VS) - ARRT (Vascular Sites)
• AND one of the following certifications upon hire:
  • CRT-Breast (BR) - ARDMS (Breast Center Sites Excluding Regionals not performing Breast Imaging)
  • CRT-Breast Sonographer (BS) - ARRT (Breast Center Sites Excluding Regionals not performing Breast Imaging)
• Preferred certifications:
  • CRT-Pediatric Sonographer (PS) - ARDMS (HDVCH Sites)
  • CRT-Musculoskeletal (MSK) - ARDMS (MSK Sites)
• AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days of hire
