Ultrasonographer MFM

About the role

This part-time, onsite position involves scheduling, performing, and ensuring the quality of obstetric and gynecologic ultrasound examinations in a Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) setting.

Responsibilities

• Performs obstetric and gynecologic ultrasound procedures according to MFM protocol.
• Ensures the performance and quality of ultrasound examinations.
• Communicates with physicians, offices, and other employees to support efficient daily department operations.
• Handles clerical duties in hospital computer systems related to the department.
• Follows all QA/QC guidelines for equipment.
• Performs other duties as required.

Requirements

• Experience in ultrasonography.
• Experience working with all levels within an organization.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) or similar software.
• Experience with Epic software or similar EMR software.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Sonography.
• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) in OB/GYN, required.
• 2–4 years of experience in OB/GYN Sonography, preferred.
• Fetal Echo certification, preferred.

Schedule

Part-time, 16 hours bi-weekly with a variable schedule.
