Ultrasonographer
About the role
Perform pediatric sonographic examinations according to specified protocols using equipment and techniques specific to the modality, anatomy, pathology, physiology and area of interest requested. Sites of care include Seattle Childrens Hospital - Main Campus, Bellevue Surgery Center, South Clinic, North Clinic and Odessa Brown Children's Clinic - Othello. Rotation amongst locations is required. Hours vary depending on location assignment. Position involves call.
Responsibilities
- Perform pediatric sonographic examinations according to specified protocols using equipment and techniques specific to the modality, anatomy, pathology, physiology and area of interest requested.
- Care for patients at Seattle Childrens Hospital - Main Campus, Bellevue Surgery Center, South Clinic, North Clinic and Odessa Brown Children's Clinic - Othello.
- Rotate between different sites of care as required.
- Work varying hours depending on location assignment.
- Involves call responsibilities.
Requirements
- Graduated from an Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) and/or the Canadian Medical Association (CMA)/Canadian Health Organization (HSO).
- Active certification in US (ARDMS) or obtain within 6 months of graduation.
- BLS for Healthcare Providers.
Qualifications
- Required Education/Experience Pathway 1: Graduated from an Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) and/or the Canadian Medical Association (CMA)/Canadian Health Organization (HSO). Active certification in US (ARDMS) or obtain within 6 months of graduation. BLS for Healthcare Providers.
- Required Education/Experience Pathway 2: 1 year of clinical US training from an accredited institution. Active certification in US (ARDMS). BLS for Healthcare Providers.
- Pediatric experience preferred.
- Vascular, Pediatric, and MSK certifications preferred.
Skills
- Knowledge of pediatric sonographic techniques and protocols.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Pay
Compensation Range: $56.30 - $91.12 per hour

This compensation range was calculated based on full-time employment (2080 hours worked per calendar year). Offers are determined by multiple factors including equity, skills, experience, and expertise, and may vary within the range provided.
