Ukulele instructor needed in Bellevue, WA

About the role

Taylor Robinson Music is seeking a private ukulele instructor to teach in-home lessons in the Bellevue, WA area.

Responsibilities

• Teach ukulele lessons in students' homes, at your home/studio, or via webcam.
• Set your own schedule and lesson plans.
• Be available to travel to students in the Bellevue, WA area if needed.
• Communicate regularly with the office about lesson progress and scheduling.

Requirements

• Great with kids and passionate about teaching music.
• Must have either a degree in music, be enrolled in a music program, have professional performing experience, or have previous teaching experience.

Qualifications

• Ability to set your own rates between $20-$30 per hour based on travel time, experience, and student retention.
• Experience with online teaching tools and platforms.
• Willingness to wear a mask, sanitize hands, and practice social distancing during lessons.

Skills

• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to adapt lesson plans to individual student needs.
• Knowledge of ukulele theory and techniques.
