UKG Test Lead

About the Role

This is a remote contract position with travel requirements, focused on QA and test management for HRIS, HCM, Payroll, or Workforce Management systems.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in QA/Test Management for HRIS, HCM, Payroll, or Workforce Management systems.
• Led testing activities for at least two full-lifecycle Workday and/or UKG implementations.
• Hands-on experience with Workday HCM, Workday Payroll, UKG Pro, or related HRIS platforms.
• Strong understanding of HR, Payroll, Timekeeping, Scheduling, Benefits, and Accruals business processes.

Responsibilities

• Planned and executed System Integration Testing (SIT) for enterprise HR and payroll applications.
• Managed End-to-End (E2E) testing to validate complete business workflows.
• Led User Acceptance Testing (UAT), coordinating with business stakeholders and functional teams.
• Performed Regression Testing to ensure application stability after enhancements and releases.
• Executed Integration Testing across HR, Payroll, Benefits, and third-party systems.
• Supported Payroll Parallel Validation to ensure payroll accuracy during implementation and migration.
• Tracked, managed, and resolved defects using Jira and other test management tools.
• Collaborated with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality deliverables and successful project implementations.
