The UiPath Robotic Process Automation Developer Associate will find themselves at the heart of GDIT’s customer-centric approach, playing a pivotal role in ensuring our customers successfully meet their strategic goals.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy solutions built in UiPath;
  • Utilize Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps and Power Automate) to develop flows and automation;
  • Create easy-to-use interfaces and forms in UiPath forms/apps to drive business processes;
  • Collaborate with end users, stakeholders, and management to identify business process needs, document the business and technical requirements, and determine the best automation solutions;
  • Create process, technical architecture, design, and user guide documentation;
  • Support architecture and design of UiPath roadmaps;
  • Participate in development and test teams driving the design, creation, testing, and delivery of technical functionality;
  • Collaborate with GDIT and customer personnel to establish and maintain automation infrastructure;
  • Implement best practices in code review, troubleshooting, debugging, and post-implementation support;
  • Contribute to the development of IT related, technical processes reviews, postmortems, and continual process improvement internally as well as for customers/stakeholders;
  • Collaborate with technical staff to define implementation and process best practices;
  • Scope work and create estimations of effort.

Requirements

Bring your curiosity, problem-solving skills, and foundational development knowledge to GDIT. While this is an entry-level role, candidates must demonstrate an understanding of core programming concepts and a genuine interest in automation development.

  • Foundational understanding of programming concepts such as variables, data types, loops, conditionals, functions, and debugging;
  • Ability to learn and apply UiPath development principles (prior UiPath experience is a plus, but not required);
  • Solid understanding of HTML or web scripting language;
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 tools (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint);
  • Understanding of or ability to learn Agile delivery methods;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to break down processes and identify automation opportunities;
  • Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies quickly and apply them in real-world scenarios;
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the confidence to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders;
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and work independently with appropriate guidance;
  • Attention to detail, accuracy, and a commitment to high-quality deliverables;
  • UiPath Associate level preferred, or must be able to obtain and maintain within 90 days.

Qualifications

  • Education: Technical training, certifications, relevant coursework, or a degree in a STEM or IT-related field;
  • Experience: 0–2 years of software development, automation, scripting, or technology project experience;
  • Hands-on exposure through academic projects, bootcamps, personal projects, internships, or related work;
  • US Citizenship and Louisiana residency required;
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.

Pay

The likely salary range for this position is $59,500 - $80,500. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
