About the role

This critical role within the Global Technology Services Organization is responsible for delivering innovative solutions across the McGraw-Hill Robotic Process Automations landscape. The role will interface with the business to set and manage the vision (roadmap) for these critical automations. With the roadmap established, the role will also execute it through various enhancements or project requests.

This position analyzes and designs business requirements for mundane processes, establishing automations within McGraw-Hill’s Robotic Process Automations (RPA) Department. It interacts with other departments such as Order to Cash, Salesforce (CRM), DPG, and Oracle Fusion applications (for Finance and PDH). This is a remote position open to applicants authorized to work for any employer within the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct reviews and analysis of business and information technology processes; solicit business requirements through interviews, workshops, and/or existing systems documentation or procedures.
  • Design solution architecture to support McGraw-Hill’s RPA business and technical requirements.
  • Conduct process assessments, feasibility studies, and automation suitability scoring.
  • Act as a liaison between business users, QA, and offshore vendors to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Provide functional and application expertise among a team of business solution analysts and functional solution architects to address diverse problems related to automations.
  • Determine underlying issues to common business problems and use appropriate influencing, negotiation, and change management techniques to implement best-practice solutions.
  • Serve as a liaison between the project and other GTS and business unit organizations, ensuring impacted departments are informed and expectations are set.
  • Ensure the quality of delivered automations meets business expectations.
  • Define and communicate the process and organizational impacts of new technology solutions.
  • Work with business teams to understand organizational and business process change management impacts due to new technology.

Requirements

  • Degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent.
  • Certification in UiPath or equivalent Robotic Process Automation tool.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience implementing Enterprise Business Systems in large global organizations.
  • Prior implementation of large-scale automations using Robotic Process Application; multiple implementations preferred.
  • Artificial intelligence (AI) and Agentic AI experience is a plus.
  • Multiple years of large-scale automations experience preferred.
  • Project management, lean, or Six Sigma experience is preferred but not mandatory.

Skills

  • Expertise in UiPath Studio, Orchestrator, and administrator activities.
  • Thorough knowledge of Document Understanding and Machine Learning Models.
  • Experience utilizing screen scraping, data scraping, and UI automation selectors to interact with applications.
  • API (REST, SOAP, etc.) experience and exception handling.
  • Proven track record of successfully aligning technology with strategic business goals in large global organizations.
  • Thorough understanding of automations development and testing lifecycle, preferably in offshore/outsourcing models.
  • Knowledge of a broad range of business processes with an understanding of impacts to financial processes.
  • Background in the Publishing or Media & Entertainment industry (or similar) is desirable.
  • Proven analytical, decision-making, and judgment skills; leadership, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder-management abilities.
  • Strong attention to detail and structured thinking.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally in agile or hybrid environments.

Pay

The pay range for this position is between $93,950 - $115,000 annually. Base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
