About the role
The selected Consultant will design a modern, intuitive UI/UX, collaborating directly with business users, IT supervisors, project managers, and development staff in an Agile environment. You will champion user-centered design, tackle complex problems, and shape product strategy by identifying improvement opportunities and driving them into the product roadmap. Responsibilities include researching, designing, and developing user interfaces using prototyping tools for new applications built on an N-tier architecture and compliant with coding standards.
Responsibilities
- Participate in meetings with stakeholders, business users, and engineering teams to understand and project UI requirements.
- Design wireframes, interactive prototypes, and user-friendly designs that support complex business processes.
- Work through all stages of the product development process—from discovery and research to user interface design.
- Test and iterate product concepts with users; conduct user research and analysis to validate designs.
- Collaborate with project managers, developers, and business analysts to brainstorm ideas, approaches, and design solutions.
- Create a Design System Library for reusability.
- Establish a seamless UI handoff process to the development team.
- Ensure user interface and user experience designs follow best practices and comply with security requirements.
- Work closely with backend developers to integrate front-end components.
- Participate in backlog grooming sessions and other Agile ceremonies to ensure development teams understand proposed UI designs and can implement them successfully.
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to technical staff.
