UI/UX Human Centered Design Specialist

For our client, we are seeking a UI/UX Human Centered Design Specialist to join the team of a leader in the Information Technology space. In this remote role, you will shape user-centered digital experiences for enterprise and government applications, with a strong emphasis on dashboards, reporting interfaces, and visualization design. You will translate research insights into practical interface solutions that improve usability, accessibility, and navigation. This position partners closely with architects, engineers, and Agile delivery teams to ensure designs align with data structures, compliance requirements, and rapid prototyping cycles. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $128,039 – $173,229 annually Responsibilities Design intuitive dashboards and reporting interfaces using human-centered design best practices Translate UX research into high-fidelity prototypes and interface designs Collaborate with architects and engineers to align designs with data models Conduct usability testing to refine dashboard designs Maintain consistent design standards for visualizations and navigation Ensure designs meet accessibility requirements for federal compliance Support rapid prototyping and validation within Agile cycles Qualifications 10+ years of experience in information systems 8+ years of specialized experience in UI/UX design 5+ years in a Human-Centered Design (HCD) role for enterprise or government applications Expertise in usability testing methodologies and design tools, including Figma or Sketch Strong understanding of Agile/SAFe methodologies and compliance standards for federal systems Benefits Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision plan options 401(k) plan with company match Flexible work hours with paid time off plans Generous paid leave policies including vacations and parental leave Short- and long-term disability benefits and life insurance options Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
