UI UX Designer (Remote)

About the role

Our client is seeking an UI UX Designer. Our client is undertaking a multi-year initiative to modernize its technology and operational systems in support of future growth.

Responsibilities

As a UX Designer, you would help design and deliver modern digital products and workflows that improve user experiences, enable key business capabilities, and support a more agile, product-focused organization.

Skills

• At least five (5) years of experience producing user interface designs with demonstrated impact.
• Health care or higher education experience is a plus.
• Experience with user interface design software such as Sketch, Figma, or Adobe XD.
• Experience with HTML, CSS, and the basics of front-end web development.
• Experience with content design, UX writing, and the basics of digital marketing, search engine optimization, and content strategy.
• Expert skills in UI design methods (prototyping, interaction flow diagrams, wireframes, and interface specifications) and strong visual design acumen.
• Up-to-date knowledge of modern digital and interaction design principles and trends.
• Ability to clearly articulate complex design problems and solutions using strong communication and presentation skills.
• A portfolio demonstrating deliverables throughout the design process for products/websites is helpful.
• Addressing accessibility concerns for digital products, including optimizing for assistive technologies.
• Strongly preferred: Experience using and contributing to design systems.
• Strongly preferred: Experience with requirements definition and backlog refinement (in tools like Azure DevOps, Jira, etc.).
• Strongly preferred: Experience with AI-assisted design and research tools.
• Strongly preferred: Experience in healthcare, laboratory operations, or client experience.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required.
