About the role
As an independent contractor, you will be responsible for providing specialized technical support to our clients. This includes troubleshooting complex software issues, implementing new technologies, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operations.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to clients via phone, email, and remote access tools
- Diagnose and resolve software and hardware issues
- Implement new technologies and train clients on their use
- Collaborate with project managers and other team members to ensure timely and effective problem resolution
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- At least 5 years of relevant work experience as a technical support specialist or similar role
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues
- Proficiency in common IT tools and software (e.g., Microsoft Office, Windows, Linux)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Qualifications
- Experience working with cloud-based systems and services
- Knowledge of network infrastructure and security protocols
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Skills
- Technical proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++
- Experience with DevOps tools and methodologies
- Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms
