UI Designer

Pomegranate Media · Lakes of the Four Seasons, IN · 2 wk ago
Full-time

About the Role

Pomegranate is looking for a talented, thoughtful, detail-oriented UI Designer to join our design team. You’ll be helping to craft beautiful, emotionally resonant digital experiences. Your week-to-week will primarily involve designing websites and experiences for new and existing clients. You’ll also dip into pure graphic design work, such as marketing material for long-term clients, shared across the team to keep visual instincts sharp. Additionally, you’ll help run both internal and external workshops to clarify direction, explore ideas, or unblock the work.

What Makes Design at Pomegranate Different

At Pomegranate, we believe in design as more than just aesthetics—it’s how things work, feel, and function as a whole. We integrate behavioral science and research into our design work to maximize its potential. Our creative processes are structured to foster creativity through collaboration, transparent thinking, and a culture of honest critique. You’ll be encouraged to ask big questions, push your craft, and take real ownership of the work.

Design and development are symbiotic at Pomegranate. You’ll collaborate with talented developers who understand design, and you’ll learn to understand the developed environment to ensure your designs have maximum impact when shipped.

  • Ability to work autonomously, meet tight deadlines, and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Experience working closely with developers and building design systems that translate cleanly to code
  • A grounded, collaborative mindset with a focus on teamwork and quality
  • Experience running design workshops, either internally or externally
  • Based in London or willing to commute ad-hoc for collaboration days, client presentations, and team in-office days
  • A strong sense of design restraint, rhythm, and balance

Responsibilities

  • Ensure all creative production is of the highest quality
  • Effectively communicate design ideas and rationale to internal and external stakeholders
