UI Architect - NY/ NJ

About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled UI Architect with strong expertise in React (React.js/React Native) and seamless integration with Java/Spring Boot back-end systems. The ideal candidate will lead the design and development of scalable UI architectures for enterprise-level applications, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver robust digital solutions.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the front-end architecture using React.js and best design practices.
• Create reusable UI components and micro frontend strategies.
• Collaborate with back-end engineers to ensure smooth API integration (Java/Spring Boot).
• Implement and enforce coding standards, design guidelines, and UI performance benchmarks.
• Support DevOps and CI/CD processes for front-end deployments.
• Provide technical mentorship and leadership to the UI development team.

Skills

• 10+ years of UI development experience with 3+ years in an architectural role.
• Strong hands-on experience with React.js, React Native, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3.
• Proven experience integrating with Java/Spring Boot services.
• Deep understanding of RESTful APIs and front-end state management (Redux, Context API).
• Experience with build tools like Webpack, Babel, and testing libraries like Jest/Cypress.
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and version control systems (Git).
• Knowledge of accessibility standards and responsive design.

Location: New York, NY (Hybrid – 3 days onsite per week). Candidate requirement: Local candidates only (NY or NJ preferred). Interview process: 2 rounds via Microsoft Teams Video Call. Type: Contract.
