UGA Product Onboarding US Associate

About the role
We’re looking for somebody to:
- Lead the onboarding strategy and execution for new alternative investment products and fund administrators across the UBS Wealth Management Americas platform
- Manage and develop a team responsible for end-to-end onboarding execution, escalation management and ongoing process enhancement
- Drive a scalable operating model that supports business growth, strengthens controls and improves time to market
- Partner closely with Product Structuring, Alts Capabilities, Technology, Legal, Compliance and external fund partners to support successful product launches
- Act as an escalation point for complex onboarding matters and resolve issues in a timely and effective manner
- Identify and implement opportunities to improve efficiency, standardization and transparency across onboarding processes
- Maintain strong working relationships with fund companies, administrators and other strategic partners
- Ensure onboarding activities are aligned with regulatory, operational and risk requirements
- Contribute to broader strategic initiatives that support the continued development of the alternatives platform
Your team
UGA provides alternative investment solutions for high-net-worth clients of UBS Wealth Management US. WM US Alternative Investments business has over $90 billion in assets under control across hedge funds, private equity, private credit, real estate, REITs, BDCs, exchange funds and managed futures. Products range from privately placed offerings to registered public offerings like REITs/BDCs.
The UGA Product Onboarding team is responsible for onboarding funds and administrators to the UBS WMA platform and managing the operational framework that supports launch readiness and ongoing platform support. The team works closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to deliver consistent onboarding experience and support strategic growth across the business.
Requirements
- Ideally 5+ years of experience in alternative investments, operations, transactional processing and/or wealth management operations, preferably at a fund, administrator or another broker dealer/bank platform
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics or related discipline
- Proven leadership experience, including team management, coaching and performance development
- Strong understanding of alternative investment products and the operational processes required to support onboarding and launch readiness
- Experience working across a broad stakeholder group, including business, operations, technology, legal, compliance and external providers
- Demonstrated ability to lead process improvement initiatives and implement scalable operating models
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with sound judgment and attention to detail
- Effective communication and influencing skills, with the ability to build credibility across functions and levels of seniority
- Strong sense of ownership and accountability, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Advanced skills in Excel, Word and SharePoint
- Curiosity to explore how AI can improve workflows, with sound judgment in validating outputs and aligning with policies, risk standards, and ethical use

Pay
The indicative gross base salary range for this full-time role in New York, New York is USD 135,000 – USD 165,000 per annum. The expected salary will be determined by relevant factors including role-required experience, qualifications, education, location and skill level.
