Responsibilities
- Locating items as received in proper storage locations
- Maintaining stocks on hand
- Participating in cyclic and special inventories as required
- Re-warehousing, receiving requirements and pulling correct items from stock for issue
- Issuing items to requestors
- Maintaining records for parts, materials, and equipment
- Updating computers with receipt information
- Operating forklifts
- Performing other related duties as assigned
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent with one year of related experience
- Sensitive security clearance required to start work
- One year of inventory management
- Forklift operation experience
- Ability to obtain and maintain forklift license
- Ability to work with computers
- Ability to be on feet 8 hours a day
Physical Requirements
- Heavy work exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects
- Physical activity may include climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, fingering, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing and repetitive motion
- Required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as viewing a computer terminal, visual inspection involving small defects, small parts
- Subject to environmental conditions
- Subject to hazards. Includes a variety of physical conditions, such as proximity to moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, electrical current.
Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent with one year of related experience
