UAS Flight Operator

About the role

Manna is revolutionizing delivery by delivering goods directly from local stores and vendors to customers' doors using autonomous drones. This role is essential for the safe and efficient operation of our drone fleet.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor autonomous drone delivery flights in accordance with FAA regulations and company procedures
• Monitor aircraft systems, weather conditions, airspace activity, and operational performance
• Identify, assess, and respond to operational issues in real time
• Maintain accurate operational, safety, and maintenance records
• Conduct routine inspections of aircraft, batteries, ground equipment, and operational infrastructure
• Support daily operational readiness and site setup activities
• Work closely with fellow Flight Operators, Supervisors, and Engineering teams
• Participate in training activities and continuous operational improvement initiatives
• Maintain the highest standards of safety, professionalism, and regulatory compliance

Requirements

• Minimum age of 18 years
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid US driver's license with a clean driving record
• Ability to pass pre-employment background screening
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures consistently
• Comfortable working with technology and software-based systems
• Ability to maintain concentration during extended periods
• Flexibility to work rotating schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required

Preferred Qualifications

• FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate
• Experience operating drones, robotics, aviation systems, or other safety-critical technologies
• Experience in aviation, logistics, military, emergency services, or technical operations
• Experience working in regulated operational environments

Physical Requirements

• Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 40 lbs
• Safety to operate company vehicles when required
