Overview

The Director of Data & Analytics at Jackpot.com is responsible for driving data-driven decision making across the organization. Reporting to the Chief Data Officer, this role will lead a team focused on analytics, data engineering, and machine learning.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement advanced analytics strategies to drive business growth and customer insights
  • Lead a team of data scientists and engineers in building scalable data pipelines and models
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate data insights into actionable strategies
  • Drive the adoption of new technologies and best practices in data science and analytics
  • Ensure data quality and integrity through rigorous testing and validation processes
  • Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership in clear, concise reports and presentations

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in data analysis, data engineering, or a related field
  • Proven track record of leading high-performing teams
  • Experience with data warehousing tools such as Fivetran and Airflow
  • Strong understanding of statistical methods and data modeling techniques
  • Expertise in Python and other programming languages used in data science
  • Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau or PowerBI
  • Experience with A/B testing and causal inference methodologies
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Qualifications

  • Passion for using data to solve complex problems
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Experience with AWS services, particularly Kinesis

Pay

Salary range: $150,000 - $200,000 annually
