Overview
The Director of Data & Analytics at Jackpot.com is responsible for driving data-driven decision making across the organization. Reporting to the Chief Data Officer, this role will lead a team focused on analytics, data engineering, and machine learning.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement advanced analytics strategies to drive business growth and customer insights
- Lead a team of data scientists and engineers in building scalable data pipelines and models
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate data insights into actionable strategies
- Drive the adoption of new technologies and best practices in data science and analytics
- Ensure data quality and integrity through rigorous testing and validation processes
- Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership in clear, concise reports and presentations
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field
- Minimum 8 years of experience in data analysis, data engineering, or a related field
- Proven track record of leading high-performing teams
- Experience with data warehousing tools such as Fivetran and Airflow
- Strong understanding of statistical methods and data modeling techniques
- Expertise in Python and other programming languages used in data science
- Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau or PowerBI
- Experience with A/B testing and causal inference methodologies
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Qualifications
- Passion for using data to solve complex problems
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Experience with AWS services, particularly Kinesis

Pay
Salary range: $150,000 - $200,000 annually
