U.S. Private Bank - Private Banker - Vice President
About the role

As a Private Banker, you will advise families on building, preserving, and managing their wealth using your expertise in investments, financial planning, credit, and banking.
You will be part of a local team supported by an institutional platform with resources, specialists, and intellectual capital to help clients achieve their financial goals.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain client relationships by earning trust, understanding client needs, providing targeted advice, and delivering an exceptional client experience.
- Generate business results and acquire new assets from both existing clients and new client acquisition.
- Advise clients on their overall balance sheet, including asset allocation, investment management, wealth planning, credit, and banking needs.
- Partner with internal specialists to provide interdisciplinary expertise to clients when needed.
- Connect clients across all lines of business of J.P. Morgan Chase & Co.
- Ensure proposed solutions fulfill clients' short, medium, and long-term needs through a holistic, goals-based planning approach.
- Strictly adhere to all risk and control policies, regulatory guidelines, and security measures.
Requirements
- Six or more years of work experience in Private Banking or Financial Services.
- Bachelor's Degree required.
- Series 7, 66, and Insurance licenses required for the position; unlicensed candidates considered but must obtain licenses within 90 days of start date.
- Proven sales success and strong business acumen.
- Strong community presence with an established network.
- Experience or demonstrated understanding of investments, wealth planning, credit, and banking concepts.
- Focus on the client experience and work tirelessly on the client's behalf.
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA, JD, CFA, or CFP preferred.
- Proactive, takes initiative, and uses critical thinking to solve problems.
- Dynamic and credible professional who communicates with clarity and has exceptional presentation skills.
- Strong organizational skills with a disciplined and structured approach to business.
- Experience with and in-depth knowledge of equity and fixed income markets and alternative investments, including Hedge Funds, Private Equity, and Real Estate.

Pay
Competitive total rewards package including base salary determined based on role, experience, skill set, and location. Eligible roles may receive commission-based pay and/or discretionary incentive compensation, paid in cash and/or forfeitable equity, awarded in recognition of individual achievements and contributions.
