U.S. Gov't Account Manager

About the role

Sherwood Aviation, a recognized leader in the Aerospace and Defense Industry, is seeking a U.S. Government Account Manager to manage customer relationships and contracts with U.S. Government agencies, including the Department of Defense (DoD), Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Department of State (DOS), Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), and other federal customers.

This position serves as the primary customer liaison for aviation maintenance, repair, overhaul (MRO), modification, logistics, and aircraft support programs. The Account Manager ensures customer requirements are met while maintaining compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), FAA regulations, contract requirements, and company policies.

This role works closely with Business Development, Program Management, Operations, Maintenance, Quality Assurance, Supply Chain, and Finance to deliver exceptional customer service and successful program execution.

Responsibilities

• Manage customer relationships and contracts with U.S. Government agencies.
• Serve as the primary customer liaison for aviation MRO, modification, logistics, and aircraft support programs.
• Ensure compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), DFARS, FAA regulations, contract requirements, and company policies.
• Collaborate with internal teams (Business Development, Program Management, Operations, Maintenance, Quality Assurance, Supply Chain, and Finance) to deliver exceptional customer service and program execution.
