TYSON FOODS -VICKSBURG PLANT: 3rd Shift General Labor PR01
Key Responsibilities
- Perform assigned production tasks to support processing, packaging, and material handling operations
- Aid with product handling, sorting, stacking, and staging as required
- Maintain continuous product flow to prevent downtime or congestion
- Monitor product for quality defects and report concerns promptly
- Assist line operators with setup, changeovers, and general line support
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, tools, and equipment
- Remove waste, scrap, and recyclable materials according to plant procedures
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and supervisor instructions
- Comply with OSHA regulations and Tyson safety policies
- Use required PPE and follow safe work practices
- Perform other duties as assigned
Experience
- Prior Manufacturing, Production, Or General Labor Experience preferred
- Experience in food manufacturing or fresh plant operations a plus
Expectations
- Work directly with raw, in-process, or packaged fresh product
- Adhere to strict food safety, sanitation, and contamination prevention standards
- Wear required PPE, including gloves, aprons, hairnets, and protective footwear
- Work in temperature-controlled environments, including cold, wet, or humid conditions
Pay and Benefits
Pay is $16.55 per hour. For 2nd and 3rd shift, there is an additional $2.00 per hour shift differential.
