Responsibilities

• Perform a wide variety of grinder tasks, including but not limited to grinding ductile iron pipe fittings, ensuring the fittings meet quality expectations.
• Keep work area clean and free of safety hazards.
• Perform any and all other job-related tasks assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED certificate preferred.
• Minimum one (1) year of related experience preferred.
• Foundry or heavy manufacturing experience preferred.

Skills

• Proficient in using grinders, saws, or other finishing tools.
• Understanding of ductile iron and how it responds to grinding and finishing processes.
• Ability to examine parts for defects and ensure they meet specifications.
• Ability to perform daily safety inspections and identify mechanical issues.
