About the Role
The Twin Peaks Girl interacts with, entertains, and provides best-in-class service and hospitality to every guest. The role involves selling food and beverages while embodying female sex appeal, sports knowledge, a fun and energetic personality, and adherence to Twin Peaks Image & Costume Guidelines.
The Costume
The Twin Peaks Girl is central to the Twin Peaks concept and must comply with the Twin Peaks Image & Costume Guidelines at all times while working. During costume parties, participation requires adherence to the specific costume guidelines for the event.
Responsibilities
- Adhere to all Image & Costume Guidelines.
- Interact with and entertain guests to enhance their experience.
- Promote events and specials to drive business profitability and good will.
- Provide best-in-class service and hospitality, including greeting guests, taking and delivering food and drink orders, suggestive selling, checking back for re-orders, pre-bussing tables, and settling checks accurately.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
- No prior experience or training required.
- Ability to effectively communicate in English, including reading and understanding the menu, writing and ringing in tickets, and operating a computerized register system.
- Strong suggestive selling skills for menu items.
- Ability to apply common sense and follow simple one- or two-step instructions.
- Ability to handle standardized situations with minimal variables.
- Basic math skills to compute proper change and settle checks accurately.
- Must attend and successfully complete the Twin Peaks Girl training program, including orientation and any required local or state certifications (e.g., food and/or alcohol service certifications).
Physical Demands
- Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands and fingers to handle objects or controls, and communicate verbally.
- Frequently required to reach with hands and arms.
- Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to focus.
Work Environment
- Regular exposure to kitchen fumes or airborne particles.
- Occasional exposure to wet and/or humid conditions (e.g., dish area or walk-in cooler).
- Possible exposure to toxic or caustic chemicals during cleaning.
- Loud noise levels are typical in the work environment.
- Some locations may have smoking sections, exposing employees to cigarette or cigar smoke.
