Tutor Pay Rate
The tutor pay rate for certified tutors is $36.50 per 1-hour session for any single (1) student, with an hourly rate adjustment for sessions involving multiple students (not an increase to the base rate), inclusive of material prep time and pick-up.
Responsibilities
Tutors provide tutoring services to students who are capable of benefiting from instruction but are unable to attend school and/or unable to learn in the traditional classroom environment. The Wayne-Finger Lakes BOCES provides Tutors to a wide geographical area.
Requirements
- Valid NYS Teaching Certification is required.
Job Qualifications
- Tutors for Wayne-Finger Lakes BOCES are required to be certified in the subject area for which they are providing tutoring services.
