Tutor - Youth Neglected and Delinquent Facility

Division/Department: Countywide • Hourly pay: $55 • Available September 8, 2026 • Reports to: Director, Federal Programs or designee

Minimum Qualifications

• One year of satisfactory performance and current employment contract with the Cherokee County School District
• Valid Georgia PSC Certificate in Mathematics (6-12), Science (6-12), English (6-12), or Social Studies (6-12)

Responsibilities

• Tutor students in standards-aligned subject areas to increase student achievement

Strong high-school math and advanced science skills are needed; ELA teachers are also encouraged.

Schedule

• Angel House: Tuesdays, 5:00–6:30 pm (in-person)
• Goshen Valley: Tuesdays and/or Thursdays, 5:00–7:00 pm (in-person)
