Tutor Requirements

• Available for at least 6 hours/week between 12 pm and 9 pm.
• Must be available for after-school and weekend hours to serve students.
• Must have a High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of teaching / tutoring experience required.
• Of particular interest is high-level mathematics, especially at the high school and college levels, reading intervention, and special needs.
• Must have reliable transportation and a laptop.
• Clear Live Scan Background check required.

Tutor Responsibilities

• Tutoring occurs mostly in the afternoons and evenings until 9 pm.
• Frequently placed with a student for 2-hour sessions to maximize your time.
• Candidates reflect a high level of professionalism in presentation and communication.
• Experienced in tutoring skills with a passion for teaching.
• A dynamic individual with great people skills and an outgoing personality.
