This part-time position is perfect for retired teachers, graduate students, or teachers seeking to supplement their income in a positive teaching environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual tutoring to children in various subjects, including reading, writing, math, and study skills.
• Assist with the creation and implementation of educational programs tailored to meet the needs of each child.
• Monitor and assess student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed.

Requirements

• 1 year of tutoring or teaching experience required.
• Experience tutoring or teaching, preferably with children in a one-on-one or small group setting.
• Strong knowledge of elementary and middle school curricula.
• Ability to create engaging and effective lesson plans.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Passion for working with children and a commitment to their educational success.
• Experience teaching and/or tutoring in an EC Setting and/or different learning abilities/styles highly preferred.
