About the role

The Technological University of the Shannon are currently looking for candidates who are passionate about customer service and have extensive experience in event and conference management, as well as fitness instructor roles.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of sports events and conferences, including coordination with vendors and logistics.
• Ensure smooth operation of fitness classes and programs, adhering to health and safety guidelines.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
• Extensive experience in event and conference management.
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with diverse groups of people.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to fitness instructors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., Sports Management, Exercise Science).
• Relevant certifications in event management and/or fitness instruction preferred.

Skills

• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficient in using event management software and fitness tracking tools.
