Turquoise Ridge - Assay Laboratory Technician

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the preparation of ore samples, process samples, and exploration samples
• Utilized in fire assay, wet laboratory, and operation of analytical instrumentation
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Six (6) months experience in an analytical laboratory preferred
• Familiarity with chemicals and laboratory procedures preferred
• Knowledge of computer operation required
• Exemplary safety and attendance record required
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs. without reasonable accommodations required
• Able to work with minimal supervision and prioritize a heavy workload required
• Able to communicate effectively with peers in a team environment required
• The ability to work a rotating schedule of nights and days is an essential function of this role
