About the role

Turnkey Store Managers are partnered to work with one of our seasoned Store Managers to learn Helzberg's methods for managing daily operations to achieve sales goals and profit objectives. In addition, Turnkey Store Managers spend time learning Helzberg systems for providing overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the store.

Responsibilities

  • Learn Helzberg's methods for managing daily operations to achieve sales goals and profit objectives.
  • Work with a seasoned Store Manager to learn Helzberg systems for providing overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the store.
  • After an appropriate time and based on openings, the Turnkey is assigned to a permanent location as a Store Manager.
  • Show strong personal selling skills and transfer those skills to sales associates.
  • Ensure all associates are knowledgeable of company policies and proficient in solving customer service issues quickly.
  • Recruit, interview, and hire top talent.
  • Provide ongoing training to the sales team.
  • Facilitate regular one-on-one coaching discussions to provide continual feedback to improve performance.
  • Create and implement strategies to achieve sales and profit objectives.
  • Maintain a professional work environment and address associate relations issues appropriately.
  • Show superior communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Be flexible to manage a variety of personalities.

Requirements

  • Jewelry Store Management experience.
  • Achieve store sales goals through strong personal selling skills and effective coaching of sales associates.
  • Ensure associates are knowledgeable of company policies and skilled at resolving customer service issues.

  • Provide ongoing training to the sales team.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, retail management, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
