Turnaround Rigger

Responsibilities

• Aids the crane operator in setting up equipment.
• Aids the crane operator in maintaining the crane and accessory equipment.
• Understands and performs proper rigging techniques for safe lifting of loads.
• Secures equipment to the trailer before operating the truck.
• Inspects the truck and trailer and fills out an inspection report before operating.
• Turns in the inspection report to the appropriate supervisor.
• Reports any mechanical defects in writing to the shop technician or supervisor.

Qualifications

• Current NCCER Advanced Level II Rigger Certification.
• 5 years of rigging experience.
• TWIC Card.
