About the role
Based at our Duluth, Georgia manufacturing facility, this role offers broad responsibility across Facilities, Environmental Health & Safety, Security, Business Continuity, and Capital Projects. Reporting directly to site leadership, you will play a key role in maintaining a safe, compliant, and inspection-ready operation while supporting future growth initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Lead all facility operations, maintenance programs, and infrastructure management activities for a regulated manufacturing site
- Manage environmental, health, and safety programs while ensuring compliance with OSHA, EPA, and applicable regulations
- Oversee business continuity planning, emergency response programs, and disaster recovery procedures
- Conduct safety audits, risk assessments, incident investigations, and corrective actions
- Support FDA, ISO 13485, customer, and internal audits related to facility operations and infrastructure
- Manage facility improvement projects, renovations, expansions, contractor oversight, and capital investments
- Oversee facility security programs including badge access, CCTV, alarm systems, and visitor management
- Manage facility budgets, forecast expenditures, and identify cost-saving initiatives
- Partner with Operations, Quality, and Regulatory teams to maintain an inspection-ready environment
Requirements
- 5-7+ years of facilities, EHS, engineering, operations, or manufacturing leadership experience in a regulated environment
- Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, environmental compliance, hazardous waste management, and emergency preparedness programs
- Experience supporting medical device, pharmaceutical, biotech, or other highly regulated manufacturing operations
- Hands-on experience managing facility infrastructure, maintenance programs, contractors, and capital projects
- Working knowledge of HVAC, electrical systems, utilities, and facility operations
- Strong communication, leadership, and project management skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, EHS, Industrial Technology, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
