Turf Operations Support 1 - Palm Desert, CA

Key Responsibilities

• May assist with recordkeeping related to warehouse/inventory responsibilities.
• Unload turf, seed, and fertilizer product from commercial delivery trucks.
• Ensure proper storage and handling of products.
• Load company delivery trucks with customer products.
• Pulls parts from inventory by use of forklift, or other company equipment.

Additional Key Activities

• Seasonally, long hours may be required.
• Maintenance of warehouse facility to include any repairs needed on operational equipment and troubleshooting.
• Ensure cleanliness of facility inside and out.
• Maintain clean and orderly warehouse.
• Maintain product equipment and assist customers with equipment installation and use of turf equipment, i.e. sprayers etc.
• Aid in miscellaneous warehouse duties, i.e. inventories etc.
• Analyze returned equipment and recommend corrective procedures.
• Assist with miscellaneous duties as needed.

Requirements

• Valid Driver's License.
• Forklift experience is required.
• Must be able to maintain maintenance records for equipment.
• Must be able to take on dispatching duties when necessary.
• Must be able to lift 50lbs multiple times throughout the day.
• Must be able to follow written and oral instructions.
• Willing and able to work Ag Industry hours as seasonal needs demand.
