Turf & Grounds Crew | Part-Time |Snapdragon Stadium

Responsibilities

• Aid in preparing the field for concerts, events, soccer matches, San Diego State Football, and other college athletics.
• Ensure organization and cleanliness of the grounds shop.
• Follow explicit oral and written instructions; communicate effectively with others in both oral and written form.
• Prepare for games and other stadium events.
• Cleanup and repair fields after games.
• Operate grounds equipment.
• Set up and remove grow and rain tarps.
• Be creative and innovative, finding alternatives and solutions.
• Focus on achieving planned objectives by completing relevant tasks.
• Work potential overnight field conversions and concerts.

• Be flexible and adjust to situations as they occur.
• Work independently, exercising judgment and initiative.
• Work effectively with people from a variety of culturally diverse backgrounds.
• Perform physical tasks such as lifting and carrying heavy objects.
• Work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Be available for all painting days.
