Turf Crew - Saratoga

About the Role

Seasonal full-time position responsible for maintaining the racetrack by replacing and filling divots and holes using seed/soil mix, installing portable lightweight plastic turf rails, and operating turf equipment near thoroughbred horses.

Responsibilities

• Replace and fill divots and holes on the racetrack using seed/soil mix
• Install portable lightweight plastic turf rails using post pounders (large, weighted hammers), long tape measures, and paint to mark areas
• Operate zero-turn, walk-behind mowers, trimmers, and turf rollers near thoroughbred horses

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 months of relevant experience
• Ability to work outside in all types of weather

Physical Requirements and Work Environment

This is a physical role that takes place outdoors and involves working with mowers, weed whackers, and other turf equipment.

Pay

$20.98–$21.91 per hour.
