Turf Care Specialist

We are currently seeking a Turf Care Specialist to work in our growing turf care department.

Responsibilities

• Scheduling work
• Making sure properties are monitored
• Performing routine applications
• Diagnosing and addressing turf disease and insect issues
• Making appointments with residential and commercial clients
• Performing slice seeding, aeration, over-seeding, and major turf care renovations
• Learns, understands, and adheres to all safety rules and company safety policies

Requirements

• Candidate will have the opportunity to learn additional skills through working in our tree care, plant health care, and landscape departments during the off season
• A valid Driver’s License is required
• The ability to obtain a Commercial Pesticide Applicator License - we will pay for the cost of the exam and help you prepare!

Qualifications

• An Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Turfgrass Management is preferred but not required

• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Knowledge of turf care practices
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
