TSA On Call Data Collector

Duties

• Support operational testing of various types of security equipment located in the nation’s airports.
• Collects data under the supervision of a site lead, shift lead, or experienced data collector.
• Reviews collected data to adjudicate any anomalies identified by the site lead/data analysis personnel.
• Passes through security equipment to test equipment and/or procedures.
• Conducts operator interviews.
• Times processes/procedures.
• Evaluates vendor/contractor-provided training.
• Provides daily input of activities to site lead(s) in a timely manner.

Qualifications

• High School diploma + 2 years relevant experience or Associates + 0.
• Strong written and oral communication skills required, as well as ability to work well with others in team.
• Maintain responsible, dependable behavior, as well as professional focus and awareness while working in potentially stressful environment that includes noise from alarms, machinery, and people/crowds and hard deadlines.
• Able to stand for long periods of time during an 8-hour shift.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Comfortable in tight spaces and having the ability to climb stairs and ladders and walk across catwalks as needed.
• Ability to obtain DHS suitability.

Pay

Up to $40,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.

Schedule

This is an on call position for surge support. You must be able and willing to travel up to 3 months at a time as needed.
