TS/SCI Required - VDI Engineer

About the role

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Reston, VA, providing Senior level expertise for Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide Senior level expertise for Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) environment
• Lead as the Subject Matter Expert on all VDI related issues/needs
• Provide support for ticket escalation on major outages
• Work in a rapid paced environment at times
• Provide strategic leadership and input with development partners to ensure customers understand emerging needs and technological advancements
• Lead the onboarding and standup of new enclaves and environments as needed
• Interact with Tier III support and evaluate vendor products
• Develop and monitor policies and standards for allocation related to the use of computing resources
• Create, maintain, and implement detailed documentation and maintain standard operating procedures
• Apply security settings and other commercial best practices
• Provide coaching and review the work of lower-level technical staff

Pay

The pay range for this position is $70.00 - $75.00/hr.
