Trusts & Estates Staff Attorney (West Michigan)
About the role
Warner Norcross + Judd LLP is seeking a staff attorney to join our Estate Planning Practice Group in one of the following West Michigan offices: Grand Rapids, Holland, or Kalamazoo. In this role, you'll work alongside more than 30 attorneys and paralegals in one of the largest and most sophisticated private client groups in the state. Our team advises individuals, families, business owners, and fiduciaries on complex estate planning, trust administration, wealth preservation, business succession, and probate litigation, offering associates the opportunity to build a broad practice while collaborating with experienced, nationally recognized attorneys.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation of estate planning documents
- Assist with the estate settlement process
- Prepare fiduciary accountings
- Manage and assemble estate planning forms
Requirements
- Prior experience is strongly preferred
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word
- Experience using document automation software (such as HotDocs) is a plus
- Entry-level coding or scripting experience is a plus
- Detail-oriented with excellent communication and organizational skills
