About the role

Responsibilities

• Work with sophisticated high-net-worth individuals, multi-generational family businesses, fiduciaries, entrepreneurs, and tax-sensitive clients
• Handle sophisticated estate planning matters, wealth transfer strategies, business succession planning, international estate planning, charitable planning, estate and trust administration, tax controversy matters, and Surrogate's Court proceedings
• Collaborate across offices and practice groups to provide comprehensive solutions for complex personal, family, and business planning needs

Requirements

• J.D. from an accredited law school and active Bar admission or similar
• 2-5+ Years of Trusts & Estates experience
• Experience drafting sophisticated estate planning documents, including wills, revocable and irrevocable trusts, powers of attorney, and related wealth transfer instruments
• Strong knowledge of estate, gift, and generation-skipping transfer tax planning, trust administration, and high-net-worth client counseling
