Summary

Provide operational support for the ANB Financial Services investment and trust administrative team. Day to day trust operations responsibilities includes daily posting and other related operational functions on the trust accounting system. Assist ANB Financial Services President with projects as required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Daily posting of transactions on trust accounting system for trust administrative team.
  • Transaction maintenance -- Asset Pricing, Cost Basis Adjustments, Reversals, Return of capital.
  • Pend trades for RSVP -- Colorado Springs outside money manager.
  • Asset transfer process (Receipt/Delivery) for incoming and outgoing assets of record and reconciliation.
  • Compliance Reporting - Account Reviews, Fee Concessions, Investment Objective documents for committee meetings and notices to officers of ANB FS accounts.
  • Autocom Money Movement.
  • P&I Accounting -- Work closely with ANB Bank accounting department on FED and DTC held assets.
  • Monitor failed trade reports or trades exception issues.
  • Corporate Actions Processing.
  • Class Actions Processing.
  • Daily Net Settlement Wire process.
  • PDPA -- Reporting and pledging of assets.
  • Weekly review of pricing report of assets.
  • Date of Death Valuation -- Use Estate Valuation software .
  • Set up Special Assets.
  • Pledging of Assets -- Maintenance and Set Up.
  • Proxy reporting.
  • Review asset pricing reports for municipal bonds prior to statement generation.
  • Establish, set Up contact records for client access to online statement portal.
  • Vault -- Inventory Deposit of documents and Temporary Safekeeping locations.
  • Audit local new paper for obituary notices.
  • Assist with audits of original documents and safekeeping assets held in vault and offsite locations.
  • Work with external offsite storage vendors -- Maintenance of offs te storage documents.
  • Review new asset set up for further description updates.
  • Fee Reporting - Prepare fee reports for ANB FS President and committee meetings.
  • DORA monthly reporting for PDPA accounts.
  • Prepare data for annual Reg R reporting for ANB FS President.
  • Account Review -- Maintain department database within trust accounting system platform.
  • Manages and updates all forms for department.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize daily tasks efficiently as well as manage ongoing projects.
  • Maintains a current knowledge and consistent compliance with Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) requirements, as well as knowledge and consistent compliance with other banking regulations and Bank policies and procedures.
  • Deliver high quality of service as defined by department standards.
  • Maintains confidentiality as defined by department standards.
  • Supports the company's Mission, Vision, and Values.

Education and/or Experience

  • Trust Operations Assistant I: 0 -- 3 years of experience in operations processing, trusts, trust accounting, and investments; or equivalent combination of education and/or experience. Performs the above duties with regular direction and supervision from supervisor.
  • Trust Operations Assistant II: 3 -- 6 years of experience in operations processing, trusts, trust accounting, and investments; or equivalent combination of education and/or experience. Performs the all listed duties with moderate direction and supervision from supervisor. May oversee special projects or job tasks.
  • Trust Operations Assistant III: 6+ years of experience in operations processing, trusts, trust accounting, and investments; or equivalent combination of education and/or experience. Performs the all listed duties with minimal direction and supervision from supervisor. Lead initiatives for operational processing and special projects for the department; routinely trains colleagues on these projects or job tasks. Train other staff on operational enhancements and trust accounting system platform changes that directly impact daily processing and ensure consistent application of best practices.
