About the role
This role provides business-aligned guidance focused on governance, compliance, and operational risk management. You will partner with leaders, compliance stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to translate complex issues into practical recommendations.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive reviews of estate and wealth transfer plans with clients
- Collaborate with internal and external advisors to enhance client plans
- Stay updated on tax law changes and assess their impacts on client strategies
- Engage with market teams for integrated wealth management solutions
- Participate in new business meetings to communicate the firm’s value proposition
- Represent the firm in community initiatives and industry events
- Guide trust team in administration and management of trust matters
Qualifications
- JD or LLM required
- Bar admission in relevant states required
- 10+ years of trust administration and wealth planning experience, preferably in a law firm
- Cross-border planning experience desired
- Knowledge of specific Trust laws, particularly in NY and NJ, preferred
- Strong network of professional advisor relationships
- Fluency in financial planning disciplines including tax and investment planning
- Exceptional verbal, written communication, and organizational skills

Pay
$250,000 – $275,000 annually
