Trust Advisor - Temple

About the role

Extraco Banks is seeking a Trust Advisor to join our Temple, Texas office. This role involves the administration of Personal Trust, Family Trust, and Estates, focusing on developing client relationships, ensuring client satisfaction, and overseeing profitability, risk management, legal, and compliance issues. The Trust Advisor will also pursue and develop new client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Manage a book of trust and agency clients and client requests.
• Prospect for new business through contacts and Centers of Influence.
• Conduct monthly client investment reviews, annual Reg 9 compliance reviews, and 90-day initial account opening reviews.
• Oversee Common Trust Fund management.
• Manage the tax reporting process for clients.

Requirements

• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a Trust Advisory role.
• Background in Finance, Accounting, or Law is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s level degree in Finance, Accounting, or a JD, MBA, or CPA is a plus.

Skills

• Reasonable math and accounting skills.
• Strong PC skills, including proficient knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Advanced performance level requiring minimal supervision.
• Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills.
